Smart LED Strip RGB LPD8806 IC / SMD5050 LEDs
This RGB LED strip allows you to individually control all 180 RGB LEDs on a waterproof strip in groups of 6 LEDs (6 LEDs controller by a single LPD8806). The LPD8806 even allows you to set the PWM Level for each color with an 8 Bit resolution. Each six LEDs have their own LPD8806 IC and current limiting resistors. Unfortunately there is no datasheet for the strip but a very mature Arduino Library (see below).
