The HM-13 is a new low consumption Bluetooth V4.0 BLE dual mode module. It supports EDR and BLE dual standby, there is no need to switch.
The module supports connection to EDR and BLE, making three channel data transmissions possible. SPP and LE dual standby means it supports not only traditional Bluetooth 2.1 but also BLE.
