This is the WRTnode, a high performance CPU, low power consuming, cheap, and small development board that can run OpenWRT OS and its therefor also easy to port all Linux open source software to.
What does WRTnode aim for? Maybe different people have different opinions. The creators consider it as a high speed digital version of 'Arduino'. Since it can connect and interact with USB devices like a camera and a sound card, we can collect images and sounds at the same time and stream out multimedia data in real time. With its A/D converter it can directly interact with the physical world like all kinds of sensors and motors or actuators.

WRTnode firmware, SDK and cross-compiler toolchain use the OpenWrt trunk version for WRTnode maintenance and support by OpenWrt.org official. This way, the WRTnode can use the market all the programs using the MT7620 router firmware and associated SDK and cross-compiler toolchain.
The WRTnode comes in a very nice transparent plastic box, inside the box you get WRTnode stickers too. The box is useful to store various small items useful for WRTnode (USB memory stick, I2C port expander module, jumpers and so on).
