This is Didel's ATtiny SMD Programmer Shield, a versatile programmer shield for your Arduino allowing you to easily program good amount of different ATtiny and ATmega chips in SOIC and DIL packages.
The SMD version of the ATtiny Programmer shield allows you to program the two families of AtTinys, in 8 and 14 pin DIL and SOIC packages. One more DIL socket is provided for an ATmega168 or ATmega328.
A standard AVR ISP 2x3 pin connector can be added. Its signals are duplicated on a more convenient 6-pin in line connector, pitch 2.54. A copy with 1.27 mm pitch is provided for minature circuits.
AtTinySMDProgrammer is expensive due to the press-fitted pins and magnets, and a pressure bar with adjustable screws. This allows programming SMD chips without holding them down manually.
