The LearnCbot Arduino shield is compatible with all Arduino boards. It allows a thorough understanding of programming in C through a set of exercises that insist also on the realtime aspect: handling motors and sensors is the base of all applications.
Didel designed this little Arduino shield to simulate a robot base. The objective is to learn C by programming the typical functions a robot must perform: read wiskers, move motors both direction, lit LEDs and make noise.
LearnCbot includes LEDs, push-buttons and a little loudspeaker. These components are all useful when designing a robot base and the proposed exercices permit to acquire all knowledge you need to control a real robot, without loosing time running behind the moving vehicle!
It is also easy to add Grove modules to test sensors.
Features:
- 2x Push buttons
- 5x LEDs (2x red, 2x green with PWM, 1x green)
- 1x Mini speaker with LED showing when the coil is active
- 1x Reset button
- 1x Slide switch to set the loudness of the onboard speaker (i.e. set it to low when in class)
- 7x Grove connectors
Note: This is the fully assembled and tested version of the LearnCBot Shield, a lower priced kit is also available, please see recommended products below.
Note: This is the recommended shield for the Coursera course 'Comprendre les Microcontrôleurs'.
